This is to inform the University Community and the General Public that the Mwenge Catholic University (MWECAU) Council, at its 28th Meeting held on 10th October 2025, approved promotion of the following members of academic staff: 

1. Rev. Prof. Philbert Vumilia (Associate Professor to Full Professor)
2. Rev. Dr. Eugene Lyamtane (From Senior Lecturer to Associate Professor).
